Achieved the Superior Predicate, the Evidence commitment of the Industrial Engineering Departement to Improve Quality of Education

Alhamdulillah, the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang has obtained the educational recognition of Excellence from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education on May 24th, 2022, under certification number 3147/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/S/V/2022. Reaccreditation of the Industrial Engineering Program was established through the evaluation toward the conversion of Supplementary Instruments (UTI).

Accreditation is an activity to measure the educational quality of the academic program according to the criteria that have been determined according to the National Higher Education Standards. In particular, accreditation is the quality assurance addressed to ensure the implementation of the National Higher Education programs, referred to as the Tri Dharma. The Tri Dharma involves three fundamental aspects of responsibilities, including Learning, Research, and Community Service, that have specific criteria.

The head of the Industrial Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Shanty Kusuma Dewi, ST., MT, said that the Superior predicate through the Conversion of Supplementary Instruments (UTI) could be accomplished merely due to the collaboration and solid teamwork between all academia.

"Thankfully, Holding the title of superior accreditation predicate will become a fruitful gift and motivation for the academic community to always improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education so that it can produce superior Human Resources for Indonesia and support UMM Pasti," said the Head of Industrial Engineering Department. Having been successful with the international accreditation of the Provisionally Accredited from IABEE and national accreditation of "A" predicate from BAN-PT, she confidently believes that Industrial Engineering Program can pursue superior accreditation predicate.

“We are grateful for this achievement and express our gratitude and appreciation to all personnel of the task Force team, the Quality Assurance Team, the Dean of Engineering Faculty, and the Rector for their endless support. "Last but not least, We also would like to thank our staff, students, and alumni who have been any of help ," said the head of the department. “In the future, with the recognition of the quality standards from BAN-PT, the Industrial Engineering Program can be competitive at national and international levels”, said Shanty Kusuma Dewi.
