About the Industrial Engineering Department

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT IDENTITY

The Industrial Engineering Department of University of Muhammadiyah Malang was established in 1995 with the Establishment Decree (SK) number 160/DIKTI/Kep/1995 dated June 5, 1995 and the signing official for the establishment of the Study Program Mr. Bambang Suhendro, and obtained an Operational Permit with number 13337/D/T/K-VII/2012 dated October 22, 2012.

The Industrial Engineering Department received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) with a rating of B (324) in 2015 which was ratified by the issuance of a BAN-PT Decree with number 502/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/V/2015. In 2019, it won the Provisionally Accredited title from The Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) dated February 13, 2020 with Accreditation Certificate number no. 00032.P, as well as Accreditation A with number 7148/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/XI/2020 dated November 10, 2020 and successfully achieved Superior Predicate in 2022 with BAN-PT Decree number 3147/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/S/V/2022 on May 24, 2022.

Structurally, the UMM Industrial Engineering Department is under the auspices of the Faculty of Engineering along with 4 (four) other undergraduate department, namely Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Informatics.
